Each month, our events programme gives you another reason to visit us.
Here are some of our flagship events.
Even our hills dress up to celebrate this long-awaited local festival! Mimosa is everywhere, turning every path, every garden, and often even every house, yellow.
Cavalaire’s associations pull out all the stops to be ready in time for the big parade. 2,5 tonnes of mimosa are needed to decorate the ten or so floats, so you can be sure that the intense scent of this winter flower will fill the town with its very own fragrance.
Cavalaire’s festivities are unique in that they begin on Saturday evening with a beautiful illuminated parade. Street entertainers don their luminous costumes and the music encourages dancing and merriment. The shops on the Bodega sell local produce well into the winter night.
On Sunday the sun is always out (or almost!), adding to the magic of the colourful floats. The festival is in full swing and the sound is everywhere Every band, every street performer competes with energy, much to the delight of the spectators. The confetti thrown by giggling children gets caught in the hair of passers-by
A real weekend of fun!
This marathon on a unique course is an opportunity to (re)discover the mythical Gulf of Saint-Tropez in a different way.
Enjoy an intense human and sporting experience as you run for miles along the seafront, vineyards and garrigue between Ste Maxime and Cavalaire.
And to ensure that everyone can participate at their own level, the organisers offer several different race formats, both solo and in teams.
The feasts of St Jean and St Pierre herald the arrival of summer. Provencal musicians, singers and bravadores celebrate the patron saints in processions on the sea or in the streets. Between the Provencal dances and songs, the rambling of the drums shakes up the daily life of the seaside resort town.
The perfect opportunity to put on a bit of a Provencal accent
The Passion Méditerranée Festival celebrates our maritime heritage. This is a unique opportunity to discover all the hidden secrets of our bay, the richness of our seabed and the surprising silhouettes of submerged wrecks.
The conferences, each more rewarding than the last, present biodiversity, jobs at sea and the very special experiences of sportsmen and explorers.
Local professionals are on hand to share their passion with beginners (young and old) who will be delighted to discover scuba diving, free diving and snorkelling.
As for the musicians, they let their creativity run riot by composing melodies adapted to the films competing in the Underwater Music Competition.
A perfect blend of nature, sport and culture
The year has flown by at breakneck speed. Christmas is the perfect time to get together with family and friends over a cup of hot chocolate in the village dedicated to the festivities: activities and workshops for children, strolls, the arrival of Father Christmas, concerts, fireworks…
A whole host of activities to keep the little ones entertained and happy!
